Synopsis

INSTRUCTIONAL. How men of the Barotse tribe make and use a dug-out canoe.

Two Africans begin to fell a tree with axes. The tree falls. Shaping and hollowing the trunk into a canoe. Launching the canoe on the Zambesi. Two Africans steer the canoe downstream using long paddles. Shots from inside the canoe. The End (473 ft).
