Synopsis
Amateur film showing Kashmir, Kabul, a yogi hanging over a fire, the Shan States and leg rowers on Inle lake.
No titles. A potter at work in Kashmir (42). Street scene in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan (64). An entrance gate to Kabul, a car (the Bailey's car?) passes through the gate followed by bullock carts; two laden camels walk to camera (102). In a village (?) two men sit under a thatched canopy and turn two handles which turn two larger wheels. They are watched by a number of men (147). A laden camel train pass by a road (193). A car drives onto a raft; the car is followed by a European woman (Mrs. Bailey?) and an Indian man (218). The raft docked at the other side of the river; the car drives off. The river is rather small with a plain and mountains in the background (236). The start of a hunting party. Indian men with lancers and some dogs pass by the camera; an elephant with a howdah (unoccupied) passes. The passing hunters are watched by a group of women (283). Lots of pigs in a field in Ragputana (?) (393). Two elephants and their young in a compound in Rangoon (436). A camel race at a race course with crowds and decorated stands (461).
