Synopsis

DRAMA. Young officer rescues sweetheart from native uprising on plantation.

Captain Williams visits a plantation in the tropics to see his sweetheart, the owner's daughter. During his stay he rebukes the brutal overseer, Pedro, for his treatment of the black native workers. Pedro, who has designs on the daughter, incites the natives to revolt. They go on the warpath; Pedro is shot while trying to open the stockade gate to them. While the owner and his daughter keep the attackers at bay with rifle fire, Captain Williams dashes for help, chased by a spear-throwing throng. He reaches a military camp, whose occupants ride to the rescue and scatter the attacking natives (768ft).
