Inhabitants of a house on stilts leave their house via some steps and get into canoe, the canoe is paddled to the camera (114). On a country track porters carrying large baskets walk past camera (146). Natives wait by railway line, train pulls up (157). The same train travelling away from camera (186); the train follows the bend of a river travelling away from the camera; pan right to river (255). Pan left over rolling hills and jungle (299ft).

Note: The scenes are probably around Kota Kinabalu, formerly Jesselton, as the only railway line in 1907 ran from there to Beaufort.
