Synopsis

Shows the progress being made in the advande of the scheme bringing electricity to Uganda. Describes the erection of overhead transmission lines and distribut ion networks, the chemical treatment of the wood used to prevent deterioration. Also shown is the construc tion of the 66,000 kV transmission to Kempala from the hydroelectric generating station at Owen Falls.
