Synopsis
ACTUALITY. Boer War. 'Phantom ride' taken from a moving train (moving right to left) showing the British encampment at Frere, with rows of white tents, soldiers staring at the train as it goes by, a large number of horses, further tents and some field artillery (32ft).
Note: Originally filmed in 68mm. The film shows considerable vibration, for which the cameraman Dickson apologises in his account of the filming.
