Synopsis

1) Shot of a village by a lake taken from a moving train (?) in Africa; 2) shot of a river and river bank with palm trees, etc. possibly taken from a moving platform, or a boat on a river; 3) shots of native boats travelling on river, in the day and at twilight; 4) broad river scenes in daylight; natives punting a craft; white man paddling a native boat; native boats under sail; 5) shots of native huts filmed from a moving boat on a river; 6) native town, street scenes, including a barber shaving a man; 7) in country. An important man with his servants passes by, possibly a Northern Nigerian emir? 8) a gathering of people. Present are several importantly, richly dressed people in Moorish, emiral robes, etc. The gathering prays 'en masse', kneeling to Mecca, etc.; ritual slaughter of a goat. Possibly a Ramadan festival. Crowd drifts away. This is probably all shot in Northern Nigeria on the Jos Plateau, or possibly Ghana.
