Synopsis

No main title. "Messrs. J. Walkden's Store" (3). LS of the store, name clearly seen, a European man stands outside, a group of Africans (Hausa) leave the store (17). "Messrs. Christian's Stre" (20). Two Europeans walk down a path from the store (no sign visible) (34). Africans carrying large sacks on their heads down a sack-filled gully, overseen by two European men (47). A large European house/store (58). Street scenes in a village/trading post (60). Warehouses and stores by the river (71). A European in topi and shorts watches two Africans heating and seperating oil (?). They are watched by large group of Africans in the background (92). "A visit to one or two of the Niger Company's Trading Stations." (100). Travelling shot from steamer along the river; passing a trading station (123). Passing Ekow (185); passing Tenogoa (186); passing Sabagreia (286); passing a large built up area, still Sabagreia (?) (317); passing Gana-Gana (354); another village (367). "BURUTU.
