Synopsis

INTEREST. Rhinoceros hunting in Africa.

Two European men looking through binoculars, and approaching with a line of African bearers, follow a track through the bush (85). The men sight a rhino; the bearers drop their packages and run towards two trees (102). Two rhino seen through the bush. One man shoots a rhinoceros (129). CU of the rhinoceros (142). The other rhinoceros runs off as the men approach (162). Dogs attack the second rhinocerus until one of the men shoots it (241). The bearers climb down from the trees and run in a circle over and around the dead rhinoceros (324). One of the hunters places some leaves in the rhinoceros' mouth to demonstrate the formation of its upper lip (356). The bearers begin to remove the horn and feet (523). Removing the hide and gutting (639). Africans roasting and eating the meat (728ft).
