Synopsis
Amateur film of Buenos Aires and the Falkland Islands.
Entering Buenos Aires, travelling shot of street scenes in the city, skyscrapers, the Colour Theatre(?), the City Hotel. Notice board on "Higiene Sexual" (80ft). Entering Port Stanley on the "Fitzroy". Scenes in Stanley Harbour, loading mail, children, boats, street scenes. Many penguins hurry across rough grassland. Penguins on a beach. Scenes at a sheep works, including hundreds of bloodstained sheepskins hanging on lines. Scenes at a fox farm(?), including black foxes in enclosures. The Magellan Straits, Ainsworth Glacier, Mount Waldron. An albatross, a seaplane, a train and a lifeboat. Various people including "Shanghai Lil", a flamboyantly dressed woman.
