Synopsis
An exercise involving the transport of army units to a brief 'action' in the Middle East briefly portrayed to exemplify the British Army's rle.
Troops of the Army's Strategic Reserve embark by night in RAF Britannia; on arrival at airfield (Aden?) they join a convoy through desert high ground; come under 'attack', react with artillery and infantry, and successfully 'capture' the enemy position. The exercise successfully completed, the troops will be "back in England in a week." Closing titles offer more details from Army Information Office, giving address of one in Blackheath SE3.
