Synopsis
King George VI visits Malta in June, 1943, after visiting the troops in North Africa.
'This film is presented to Malta, GC, by His Majesty's Government as a permanent record of a historical occasion'. The film shows: the King coming into the harbour at Valletta; the Governor welcoming the King in the name of the people of Malta; the King beginning a comprehensive tour of the island and seeing the destruction that has been carried out. He receives a great acclamation outside the palace and victory cheers on the balcony.
