Footage of the soldiers cooking is followed by shots of the canteen; the food being dished out; the site and the area around it; swimming; collecting water; and more food preparation. The film indicates that there are well over a hundred men here, that the temperature is 84 degrees Fahrenheit. View from the camp across the Savannah. Final shots of the trading post where bread and eggs are purchased; the men meet the twice-weekly ferry.
