How Malaya has developed its armed forces since the last war.

The Royal Malayan Navy, a small fleet with all the tradition of an ancient discipline, is profiled first; the ships are provided by Britain, the sailors come both from Britain and Malaya, and funding comes from Singapore. Next, the Malayan Regiment, which has raised and trained five new battalions since the liberation, which are being trained as the foundation of the army of the future.
