Synopsis

Film of Michael Stewart, Foreign Secretary, being interviewed on the Rhodesian situation shortly after the resignation of Governor Sir Humphrey Gibbs' resignation.

The film indicates, among other things, why things have come to a head now, the problems in confronting Mr Smith, the problems with and criticism of the treatment of Rhodesian rebels, and talk of a multiracial settlement in Rhodesia.
