Synopsis
Troops of 26th Indian Division participate in a march past in Rangoon, the recently liberated capital of Burma.
Troops of 5th Battalion 9th Jat Regiment, 1st Battalion 8th Gurkha Rifles, 2nd Battalion Indian Parachute Regiment, and 8th Battalion 13th Frontier Force Rifles, led by Brigadier Lauder (commander 36th Brigade) parade through Rangoon and the salute is taken by Major-General Chambers, General Officer Commanding 26th Indian Division and Military Governor of Rangoon.

Rangoon was reoccupied after an unopposed amphibious landing (Operation Dracula) by 26th Indian Division on 3 May 1945.
