Synopsis

Men of No. 6 Air Formation Signals RAF seen at work laying and repairing telephone lines at Mingaladon airfield in Rangoon, Burma.

An RAF signaller at work up a telegraph pole on Mingaladon airfield. A Douglas Dakota transport aircraft can be seen in the background. Close-up of the man. A jeep and trailer fitted with a cable drum is driven along and the cable spools out; a man runs along behind. Second view. A cable is laid by hand from a barrow. Close-up of a sergeant's Air Formation Signals patch (a diamond, one half black the other white, with an upright silhouette of a twin-engined aircraft and a star above).
