Synopsis

Lieutenant-General Sir Archibald Nye (Vice Chief Imperial General Staff) pays a short visit to 82nd West African Division at Gun Island, Ru-Ywa, Burma and accompanied by XV Indian Corps Commander Lieutenant-General A F Philip Christison.

Three Stinson L-5 Sentinel planes fly overhead in formation. The officers are greeted by Major-General Stockwell and chat. The group walk off past two DUKW amphibious vehicles. They enter a traditional style hut. They leave the hut and chat over notes. Nye sits in the cockpit of the L-5.
