Synopsis

Footage of SEAC (South East Asia Command) in Burma, taken by US cameraman.

I. A 4.5-inch gun is towed by a jeep. Two US commanding officers and their staffs confer over maps. British troops and Gurkhas on patrol. Field guns being towed by trucks in distance. US officer lands in 0-58B (Aeronca L3B) aircraft, and strikes a pose beside the aeroplane before being driven off in a jeep.

II. Ontario, a pleasure boat, is seen high and dry on the bank of a river near a Burmese shrine; British troops refloat it using a bulldozer, as natives jump with joy.
