Synopsis
I. "Three Phases of the World At War": Scenes of the Philippine Islands include damage on Luzon.
II. "Defence of the Caribbean": Interceptor Command of the Caribbean Air Force cooperates with the US Navy in defending the Panama Canal Zone, and with Patrol Torpedo Boat Squadrons of the Caribbean Fleet. The American Signal Corps maintains communications under difficult jungle conditions.
III. "The King With the Home Fleet": King George VI meets C-in-C Admiral Sir John Cunningham.
IV. "Tobruk enjoying a Quiet Spell": British troops and nurses relax. A Yugoslav Air Unit joins the RAF on parade. A Fleet Air Arm unit uses a Walrus plane to rescue a pilot shot down in the Mediterranean.
V. "Tanks - and The Ships to Carry Them": An Army Centre of Mechanisation produces a steady stream of tanks. An American shipping yard builds the additional ships badly needed by the United Nations.
VI. "The Far East Front": Australian troops in New Guinea. Tribesmen of Timor help British troops.
