Synopsis
Untitled amateur film, shot by Royal Army Medical Corps doctor Colonel Alexander Simson (1894-1980), records contrasting activities of British and Indians in India: Indian watering lawn from hide sack, cow cart along "Chapel Road", British men playing golf aided by Indian caddies, Indians sawing timber and herding sheep, cows and water buffalo, Briton filming with 16mm amateur camera in mountainous area of Northern India, native dancing to drums and British playing tennis.
