Synopsis

Amateur film shot by Lieutenant Dunford records naval scenes while serving on HMS Verdun in 1945, passage to Oslo in 1945 as naval escort for King Haakon returning to Norway, then naval and shore scenes in Malta, Ceylon (HMS Mayina), Singapore, Penang, Port Said, Alexandria and Gibraltar while serving on HMS Loch Achray with other Loch Class frigates.

Notes

Summary: HMS Verdun transported the "Unknown Warrior" from France to England at the end of the First World War.
