Synopsis

The first soldier wears a beret with metal cap badge, his shoulder flash is of two (white) crossed keys on a black background, the 1st Battalion Royal Berkshire Regiment, part of the 2nd Infantry Division. The next soldier wears a bush hat and has a red on his epilet, his shoulder flash is not visible. The next has a shoulder flash of a black cat with arched back and tail raised, on a khaki background (17th Infantry Division?). The next two soldiers wear bush hats with a rectangular badge depicting a white and red circle linked, 36th Infantry Division. No badges are visible on the next soldier. A close-up of a soldier wearing a beret with a gold (metal) crest of a laurel with a central figure behind a cross (the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders). The next soldier wears a bush hat and has a shoulder flash of a red spot on a black background. The next soldier has a red rectangular shoulder flash but the whole badge is not visible. The next is wearing a bush hat and has a shoulder flash showing a golden chinthe (the Chindits). On his epilet is R. SIGS. (Royal Signal Corps).
