Synopsis

Amateur film of Victory Parade Day in Rangoon, Burma (15 June 1945). The Supreme Allied Commander, South East Asia, Admiral Lord Louis Mountbatten inspects the representative services.

Mountbatten inspecting troops. Mountbatten making a speech outside Government House. Mountbatten saluting the troops as they march past. Shots of troops. The Union Jack (with the Governor's badge in the centre) is lowered. Mountbatten salutes. Troops march off.
