A presentation ceremony; Lord Mountbatten presents awards/plaques to troops outside Government House?. A shot of RAF and Army officers talking and getting into cars. Close-up of one of the items presented by Lord Mountbatten - a framed insignia (a lion standing on a crown with the word India below, gold on a black background - the Governor-General's crest?). Lord Mountbatten shaking hands with and saluting troops. Lord and Lady Mountbatten leave the grounds. Close-up of Army officers.
