Synopsis
1. Coastal Trader: Indian seamen in their primitive vessels. 2. Doggett's Coat and Badge: the annual race in London for Doggett's coat and Badge, and £20, the race is rowed in light skiffs from London Bridge to Chelsea, by young Thames watermen just out of apprenticeship. 3. Surf Boats: the use of surf boats on the Gold Coast to get from the big ships to the shore.
