Synopsis

Documentary filmed and titled by British nature cameraman Cherry Kearton records series of journeys made between 1910 and 1932 to Africa and Asia, as well as Belgian refugee scenes in 1914, spring-wound camera he invented in same year, Lord Roberts inspecting New Army recruits, General Sir Francis Lloyd with F C Selous and George Outram, service with 25th Battalion Royal Fusiliers in East Africa (1915-1918) and graves of Dr Jameson, Cecil Rhodes and Wilson on Table Mountain (South Africa).
