Synopsis
"Hurricanes find new way to Suez."
"Coloured boys supervised by white men" construct an airfield in the jungle near a West African port (name censored). Film shows felling of trees, screening of soil, rolling, tar-spraying, gravelling and final rolling. Crates containing Hurricanes are unloaded in port and transported to the airfield where they are then assembled, being fitted with supplementary fuel tanks under the wings. A fire-fighting crew stand by. Air to air film then shows the Hurricanes, shepherded by a Blenheim, flying towards their distant destination in North Africa.
