Synopsis

"October 27, 1934 - April 24, 1935" Film begins with an outline map of world, the Thaw's route is traced through Africa. Cairo-Khartoum-Nairobi-Elizabethville-Johannesburg-Cape Town. On board ship in rough seas. Peggy (Thaw) shooting on deck. Ship arrives in Egypt. Camel ride to the pyramids and sphinx. Map shows route to Wadi Halfa. Nile cruise. Scenes in Khartoum. Kosti. Malakal. Scenes of villagers and village life. Peggy and Larry pose with the local people. Bor. More scenes of an African village and its people. Elephants seen from the boat. Juba (Sudan). Scenes of the village, a plane lands. Nimule, Rhino camp. Pakwach, But Iaba (Uganda). Masindi (Uganda). Peggy poses with trucks and 'crew'. Individual portraits of each member of the party? Kampala.
