Synopsis
This film contains family scenes of his wife and four children at their residence. Sequences of a market in Kota Belud with food and craft vendors. The celebration of the Queen's birthday with a Sabah official being carried by six men on a beautifully decorated platform and escorted by horsemen. There are scenes from a Bazaar in Kota Belud, with stalls and horse races, marching bands and dancers.
Production / Donor Details: Sir Jack Boles worked in administration in North Borneo and then Hong Kong, from 1948 until 1964. This is part of a collection of four 8mm. silent films taken by him during 1960 and 1961.
