Synopsis

The film starts off with a village 'western style' wedding, and pans to beach and reef. It then shows the use local people make of the sea and beach i.e. children playing, adults cooking by means of beach fires, catching fish and collecting coconuts. It also illustrates children, wearing head dresses, being taken to the beach in a pickup truck and then a beach party with people sitting and eating. The film jumps to houses being built and a family carrying possessions. It ends with a spectacle on the beach comprising two boys fighting, spectators watching wrestling and leap frog. Numbers of children walking and playing at piggy-back on the beach and gradually increasing in numbers as they go in and out of view of the camera.
