Synopsis
The Prince of Wales' trip to India in 1922.
"After the ceremony the Prince returns to Government House". In motorcade.
"Peshawar. The City of Peshawar - the Postern Gate of the Khyber Pass". Slow pan of rooftops.
"A ride through the Brass Bazaar". Travelling shots through the streets.
"Jamrud, the entrance to the Khyber Pass". The Prince of Wales inspects troops.
"The First Kinematograph records ever taken of the famous Khyber Pass, the key to India. Taken from Landi Khana the western extremity of the Pass. The Mountains of Afghanistan can be seen in the distance". Pan hillside, sparse vegetation, and the valley.
"At Landi Khotel, Shinwaris and Mohameds assemble to watch the royal progress through the Pass". Two motor cars drive along the roads.
"Rawl Pindi. HRH reviews the garrison at Rawl Pindi. There were over ten thousand officers and men on parade"
"Rawl Pindi. A Unique and impressive ceremony". A regiment receives new colours from the Prince.
