A large number of male and female tribespeople performing a Motu dance at Hanuabada: in the background are several tall grass-roofed houses (102) MOTU DANCES. DANCED BY FOLK OF MOTU AND KOITA TRIBES FROM MANU MANU, TATANA, PAPA AND POREBADA. Another dance performed by women, and by men with drums (208) A TYPICAL MOTU DANCE. Similar dance (232) MOTU DANCE. Note: Section (102-303) almost certainly filmed at the "durbar" of the Central Division tribes organised by Capt. Francis Rickman Barton in 1904 at Port Moresby, Papua.
