Synopsis
"El Salvador. Earthquake kills 2000". Aerial scenes of the destruction in and around Jucuapa. Some surivors at a hospital,(6-7.5.1951). "Sevenoaks. Women cricketers. Kent v. Australia". Scenes from the game. Kent are all out before lunch for 70, and are beaten by seven wickets. "New Jersey. Railways. Past and Present". Eirie railway celebrates its centenary by running one of the original trains - the William Morris - next to a modern diesel. "Italy's latest in hats". Hat fashions. "Detroit. A.A.U. title gymnastics". A variety of performances from Joseph Kotys and Jimmy Miles, plus seventy year old club swinger Edward Henning (?). "Hong Kong. Stockpiling water". In view of the tensions between Hong Kong and China special tanks are constructed for saving water. "Israel. 3rd anniversary of independence". Parades, dancing, tree planting and agricultural scenes, (14.5.1951).
