A four-part documentary series made by two Hong Kong residents, following a cross-section of the colony's citizens over a three-year period as they prepare for the handover to Chinese rule. In the first programme, a look at publisher Jimmy Lai launching a newspaper dedicated to Hong Kong's freedoms; Jimmy Yip who is building a theme park and embraces the new Chinese regime; politicians standing for election to Hong Kong's Legislative Council; policemen and women patrolling a tough beat; and activist John Kamm.
