Synopsis

In the third part of the series following several Hong Kong's citizens as they prepare for Chinese rule, newspaper proprietor, Jimmy Lai, offers a large reward for the capture of violent triads and, in the second half of 1996; entrepreneur David Chu is inspired by a visit to the Great Wall of China; policewoman Emy Lee strives for promotion, while her ex-boyfriend moves into a police unit investigating business fraud and prepares for his law finals.
