Synopsis

Port Stanley shop "Falkland Islands Home Industries". Civilian vehicles and military vehicles. Church. Good quality street scenes. Interview with Colonel Mohamed Ali Shineldin (note hand grenades carried high on webbing). Interview with General Menendez, Military Governor, in uniform. Shots of unstable munitions at airfield (close up). Exteriors and interiors of Moody Brook Barracks. Ammunition stores held by Marines at Moody Brook. Argentine flag flying over barrack flagpole. Guards stand on sentry duty with Sapper Hill in background. Close-up of signboard for Naval Party 8901. Port Stanley airfield now called Aeroporto Malvinas, run by Fuerza Aerea. Views of the airfield under occupation. Troops stand around, Interview by journalists with Alte Buser and Brigadier Crespo along with Comodoro Hector Gilobert (FA officer). Interview with islander Bill Etheridge (in English) (works in the telecommunications station) Carried out in the immediate aftermath of the invasion "not happy - I have lived here for fifty years and I am British... my country is not British any more" (lengthy interview). More scenes of everyday life on the streets under occupation.
