Synopsis

I. Visit to Hong Kong by the Secretary of State for War, the Right Honourable J J Lawson, October 1945. MCU as General Festing introduces Lawson to his staff. CUs of the VIPs. Admiral Harcourt gets into a staff car to continue the tour. The Admiral and Lawson tour internees flats with the Reverend Sandbach.

II. British POW collaborators under arrest. Five men with their kit are escorted into compound - they stand at ease and stare back at the camera impassively - Major C Boon and Lieutenant H G Evans, RASC, and Gunner D S Bevan, Sapper C Husan, and Gunner A H Tovee. Two regimental police look on, tapping their swagger sticks in their hands - one of them wears the badge of the West Surrey Regiment. Two Indians look on fixedly as a naval rating notes down personal details of the prisoners.
