Synopsis
On 23rd January 1955, HMS Superb on passage from Kingston, Jamaica to Callao in Peru passed through the Panama Canal.
Superb approaches Gatun Lock from Cristobal and passes through the locks (very good quality). The approach and passage through the locks at Miraflores. (On 29th January, 1955, the C-in-C America and West Indies Station, Vice-Admiral J F Stephens, laid a wreath on the memorial to Admiral Grau at Lima.)
