SUPPLIES FOR ARAKAN

This film is held by the Imperial War Museum (ID: ADM 1777).

Synopsis

West African troops disembark from the cameraship onto a rubble strewn quayside. Indian dock labourers handle cargo slings from unloading merchantman and transfer crates onto a roller conveyor which runs into a camouflaged warehouse. Armed sentries, also Indian, look on. Inside the warehouse workers roll tyres to storage areas, and stack crates of munitions - AT mines, guncotton charges, etc.
