Synopsis
Sequences showing a football match in a city park and water polo in a swimming pool. WRNS disembark from RN trucks. Sequence showing WRNS being taken on a sightseeing trip around crowded anchorage in RCL. Cut to WRNS in city streets. LA facial of a Wren - she looks fixedly out of camera and salutes repeatedly until the cameraman is satisfied. MS across hotel gardens in low light - WRNS are sitting about chatting. CU sequence as 4x2 3-ton Ford pulls away carrying WRNS in the back on benches - in the next shot it re-enters frame (having presumably driven in a circle) and they climb out. Repeat of harbour sequence. Various scenes about town - government offices, a large church (probably the Cathedral of Christ Church), ramshackle tea room, an imposing public building in the Classical style (Queen's House, the Governor's residence ?). LS along seafront promenade to the Galle Face Hotel - on the beach is a local fisherman with a cast net - CUs of native man and boy.
