AERIAL VIEWS OVER THE FALKLANDS AND BOMB DAMAGE ASHORE

This film is held by the Imperial War Museum (ID: ADM 4837).

Synopsis

Aerial shots over the Falklands coastal region; badly damaged buildings.

(Reel 1) Shots show Falklands Sound and other areas from the air. Signs of the recent battle are just about evident (the footage is shaky), including a line of prisoners(?) walking along a road. (Reel 2) Shots on the ground show an area of devastation around a building.

Notes

Summary: footage was received with no documentation and little identification. Information is partly based on the recollections of DPR(N) cameraman, Alan Fowler, in 1993, although he had no knowledge of this particular reel - see note to ADM 4821.
