Synopsis

I. Fleet Air Arm Over the Desert. Film showing Martlet IIIs of 805 Squadron based at Mersa Matruh (?) in 1941 as a component of the Royal Naval Fighter Squadron. CU of member of groundcrew painting the identification numbers AX 733 on fuselage. MS along line of parked aircraft. Pilots approach. Aircraft taxi for take off. Cut to Martlets in flight-formation peels away to dive below the camera aircraft's field of view. Miscellaneous air to air LSs. Cut to ground crew who prepare 250lb bombs.

II.Governor-General Visits Gibraltar. Film of court visit to Gibraltar by General Don Fernando Barron y Ortz, Governor of Algeciras, August 1941. Spaniards arrive - various CUs. Parade ground - battalion of Somerset Light Infantry inspected - 3 in mortars laid out. Military band and march past.

III. Admiral Muselier accepts transfer of Fairmile Cs into Free French Navy. Roman Catholic service held on quarter deck of ML.
