Synopsis

Aerial shots of the aircraft carrier HMS Invincible (R05) and the Type 42 destroyer HMS Newcastle arriving in Hong Kong harbour; also shots of the two vessels from shore and waterline after docking. Also featured is the fleet stores ship RFA Fort Austin (A386) in the harbour and taking on supplies in the docks, and brief shots of patrol vessels P204 and P09.

Notes

Summary: HMS Invincible, escorted by HMS Newcastle and also HMS Norfolk, HMS Boxer and two Royal Fleet Auxiliaries, were in Hong Kong as part of Orient 92, a six-month operational deployment to the Far East.
