Synopsis

(Tape 1) Shots of HMS Ocean and HMNLS Rotterdam. FIBUA - Fighting in Built-Up Areas - sequence on Gibraltar. HMS Ocean and HMS Fearless off Gibraltar. Troop and gun movements (42 Commando and 29 Commando Royal Marines) by 846 Naval Air Squadron to and from HMS Ocean, including troops of Commandos being raised on the deck elevator at dusk.

(Tape 2) Royal Marines from 42 Commando offload onto landing craft from HMS Ocean as part of Exercise Rock Wader. Shots of deck operations on HMS Ocean, plus aerial shots of "Ocean", HMS Fearless, RFA Bedivere, HMNLS Rotterdam and LSLs off Gibraltar.

(Tape 3) General views of HMS Fearless (L10) from camera based in landing craft. Fearless lowers a landing craft over the side as cameracraft speeds away (shot of HMS Fearless receding). Also seen are RFA Sir Bedivere (L3004) and HMS Ocean (L12). Helicopter landings and rapid roping on the Rock of Gibraltar.
