Synopsis

I. Close-up of helmsman of HMS Ocean, stripped to the waist. He carries out his normal duties.

II. Various shots taken in Grand Harbour, Malta, of ratings travelling by, and alighting from, motor boats and dghaisas (dghajsas) piloted by local inhabitants. In long shot, a P and O Liner is shown leaving the Port.

III. Long shot of British Fleet in Sliema Harbour, Malta. Clearly shown are HMS Vigo and HMS Gravelines (Battle Class Destroyers).

IV. Attendant destroyer HMS Ulster (U Class) pulls alongside HMS Ocean. A Westland Dragonfly helicopter hovers behind, and then alongside, HMS Ocean.

V. At sea, two Blackburn Firebrand aircraft approach at low level over the sea, then turn away.
