Synopsis
Free boxing fair and fun fair at St Elmo, Lower Valletta, run by the army for the services and also open to civilians. Bomb damage visible in the hall, the largest hall in Europe. Soldiers and civilians at the Tombola wheel and other attractions.
Gun drill on a twin six pounder.
Men doing fatigues and gardening in the fort. Shield in the RMA (Royal Malta Artillery) mess consists of a trophy from one of the Italian E boats captured on 26 July 1941. Manning parade. Various units before going on night duty.
