Synopsis
HMS Welshman brings supplies to Malta, the ship is unloaded of oil, chilled meat and ammunition.
Malta Home Guard on parade, inspected by Brigadier Beckett, CRA at St Peter's Square, Hamrun. Four members of the Home Guard getting ready for parade: Augustus Agius (a greengrocer) looking up the barrel of his Lee Enfield; Francis Fredo (a dairyman) putting on his steel helmet; C Basittil (a carpenter) cleaning his rifle; Mr Spiro Debono (a motor mechanic), the Company Commander, leaving headquarters. They are also shown at their ordinary jobs.
