Synopsis
A party of high-ranking Chinese officers visit Malta on their way to Britain.
The party includes Major General Wang Pia Chenk, General Yang Chieh, Colonel Hoo Kwang Shee, Colonel Chang Chian Chew, Lieutenant-Colonel Sung Tong Pin, Lieutenant Commander Shen Tsin Tsnag and Mr Lee Se Ying. They are met at Luqa airfield and taken on a tour of the island's defences by Major General Oxley. On the cruiser HMS Phoebe the officers are shown around and General Yang Chieh presents a cup to the wardroom crew for having won the ship's regatta. Lord Gort and his staff with the Chinese officers in the garden of San Anton Palace before their departure.
