Synopsis
Cyprus Coastal Defence Battery practising Action Stations.
Telephone orderly receiving message at observation post from Naval Command that an unidentified ship is in the area. Predictor crew climbing observation steps to take up positions. Range finders observing target and reporting to officer on watch. Observation post takes bearings (using what the dopesheet describes as a "Dumeric instrument"). Commands being passed to gun crew through megaphone. Gun drill.
